An amended Government Organization Act was promulgated, providing the legal basis to abolish the existing Prosecutors Office and establish two successor agencies. Act No. 21065 was promulgated on October 1, 2025, establishing the legal basis for the two successor agencies. The relevant restructuring provisions are scheduled to take effect on October 2, 2026.
