Government Announces Roadmap to Integrate Korail and SR
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced an official roadmap to integrate the high-speed rail system operated separately by Korea Railroad Corporation and SR Co., Ltd.. It said the integration was intended to ease seat shortages and booking inconvenience while improving railway safety and rolling-stock utilization.
